Our Duck Race is one-of-a-kind in northern Indiana, making this fundraiser a destination event each year. However, due to the unforeseen COVID-19 pandemic, SCAN has decided to move The 32nd Annual Weigand Construction Duck Race to Benefit SCAN to Sunday, August 30, 2020 and cancel an in-person event at Promenade Park. Instead we will virtually pull our Duck Race winners live online at SCAN’s Facebook.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are closely monitoring our duck race sales with safety being a top priority. The Weigand Construction Duck Race has made an immeasurable impact on SCAN throughout its 32-year history. We are committed to finding a way forward that keeps everyone safe while supporting SCAN’s mission to protect children and prepare parents. At this time, we are not allowing any physical sales of ducks and we have transitioned this to a virtual event.
