Virtual THRIVE 2020

This year, SCAN virtually hosts Tara Westover, New York Times bestselling author of Educated and one of Time 2019's most influential people. Our goal is to raise support to fund SCAN’s mission to protect children, prepare parents, strengthen families and educate our community to Stop Child Abuse and Neglect.

SCAN’s Board of Directors has banded together to raise a $166,000 match for THRIVE to help more children access SCAN’s resources and develop the resilience they need to face the future, unscarred by their challenges and stronger than before. Every ticket, donation, and sponsorship will be included in the board match.

As we use a virtual platform for THRIVE this year, SCAN wishes to be sensitive to our audience’s time and family routine. In light of this, we are shifting our event time to 7 p.m. so more people can enjoy this evening with Tara Westover as we celebrate SCAN’s work to empower families and protect children during an uncertain time.
